Latacunga-Isinlivi

It's almost time for my two-day hike to Quilotoa. I went to the place Latacunga to stay for a night and leave my big backpack. After my two day walk I would come back here and go further.

It's now a quiet place and there was not much to see or do. I went to a nice bar that had a balcon. Picked the cheapest beer.. 2,75 dollar but still it was a 600ml one! Then went to have dinner and went into my bed at 19:45... I had a Belgium roommate and she was changing to go to bed too and I said that I went to a nice bar today and that the bar would be open till 22:00. She suggested to go there. We both got changed and went for a drink. Now it was 21:30 when we went to bed. That was much better!

The next day I left my backpack and went to the busstation to get the bus to my next destination. They said I couldn't go straight but I had to change in Sigchos. They should know I thought. I arrived there at 11:45 and it really was a little town on the mountain. I was a bit confused and asked where I needed to take the other bus.. "just over there" was the answer. It was a busstop, but as I was sitting there and was waiting, I didn't feel comfortable and started to ask around. I apparently was waiting at the wrong place. I was pretty glad when I found the bus that had the name of the town that I was heading for on it. But no bus driver. That doesn't matter, I can wait. When he arrived he told me that he was not going there, that there only was one(!) bus going there each day, and that leaves at 11:00. So, I missed it. 

I can speak a bit Spanish, explain where Im going, order food, have a little conversation, but in this case, it was pretty hard to explain what happend and what I needed/wanted. Long story short, one of the locals drove me over to the next town for 10dollars. Nice! Beautifull views we had on the way. But most of all, I got at my destination!
