Quito

The people in Otavalo were very helpfull and nice. They always wantes to help me getting me on the right bus or make sure I get out when I had too. Even though I didn't ask them. Still twice times I missed my stop. It really looks like a hop on hop off bus. People run into the bus and jump out. Not always the bus stands still. And there is always a person "pulling" you in the bus or "pushing" you out. Which is funny to see. Even the carbage they pick up running. I think they just like running?!

So in the morning I took the bus to Quito, about one and a half hour drive and this costed 2dollars. I looked at the internet to see where I had to go out. But in the bus they don't say the name of the stop so it's allways exciting if you get out on the right stop if you don't know the place, I think. I got out at the first bus terminal in Quito and try to find my next bus. Offcourse it wasn't the right stop but anyway.

I was staying at a hostel but now there are not a lot of backpackers so it's quite quiet.

I stayed in a six girls dorm and the first night we where with tree and the other night I had the room for myself!

Quito is the chocolate capital so I went into town to have a look. I saw a lot but almost no chocolate. 

The next day I was going on a tour to Cotopaxi, a big mountain. It was beautifull! We went to around 4600m altitude to walk up the last 264m. Because of the hight we took it really slow and had 10stops on the way up to catch our breath and enjoy the view. Which was amazing! We could see the top and the glaciers, so we got lucky.

The walk dawn was way easier and at a certain point we got a bicycle and went down over the gravel road to a lake. For the bike riding I put on my rain clothes because the sky got dark and it started dripping.

We had lunch at a restaurant with view on Cotopaxi but because it was cloudy and raining a lot so we couldn't see anything. 

I wanted to get a taxi and go out for a drink. But the people that where in the hostel didn't wanna go so I just stayed there to have another relaxing evening because I didn't want to go out in the dark by myself. Rather be safe then sorry!
