Isinlivi-Chugchilán

The hostel in Isinlivi was great! Beautifull views, a lot of windows, rooms to sit/relax or read, really good and enough food and a big Saint Bernard dog with the name Baloe.

I went to the viewpoint and the dog companied me. But there where a lot off clouds so I put my alarm early to have another try.

I met some people that also where gonna do the walk so which was good because I rather didn't go by myself.

The next day we left around 9:30 in a group of 5 people. We had to walk 12,4km (elevation 700m). It was a really good day with a lot of sun and nice views! It took us about 5hours to get there and then it was colder and cloudy so we where happy with a warm shower. 

What I haven't told you before is that I got new hiking shoes for this trip but unfortunatelly they are a little bit to small for my feet. Nevertheless I brought them with me because I just needed waterproof walking boots. When I did my first big walk (Cuicocha, 11,7km) I tried them out. I didn't think it went that bad, although my feet where a bit hurting, I could live with that. But I got big blisters (on both my little toes). The one that already lost the skin of the blister so that the rubbing of the blanket woke me up at night. Rather didn't want to walk two days on those shoes (*sorry mum, I decided to just do the walk on my sneakers). But I took them with me in case of rain. And I was SOOOO happy with the sneakers. Till at the end, I hit a rock and the bottom of my shoe got loose.

Luckly the man in the hostel fixed it so I could walk on them the next day again!
