Welcome Auckland

20 november 2017 - Auckland, Nieuw-Zeeland

So Auckland. . here I am. I got to my hostel at 11:30 pm and I had a room on the second floor. My backpack was 21 kilo (I started with 18. . a got a few cans of food with me now) and I walked passed the elevator and walked up the stairs. The room was one big mess and it was smelly, Simone where are you!. I was not really comfortable and that was also because I didn’t hat any plan for my trip over here. I had changed my mind so many times. But well here we are so try to make the best out of it.

A few people were playing cards so I joined them before going to bed. Tomorrow is going to be the day to finish my travel journey, get my car and plan my trip.

I organized at the car rental company that they would pick me up at the hostel the next day because I didn’t need it that day and you have to pay overnight to park your car in the city. So that was sorted out. Now planning my trip, I wanted to drive through Coromandel, visit the Waterworks, drive back to a campingspot, drive the next day to Rotorua and do some walking, cycling tour, waterfalls etc. But the cycling tour didn’t go on the days I had planned to be there, the day before it did but that would probably be to stressful. See how I go.

Then it was time for my travel journey to finished. That took a bit longer then expected so when it was dinner time I decided to stop and finish it on another day. There was a 5dollar beer + dinner deal on the hostel so that was a plan. And after there was a pool competition so . . Finish my travel journey or pool competition. I decided to join the pool competition and relax a bit.

There were 24 people joining. When I was on I straight sank the black ball, I do that often but not at the first go . The rules were like this:

You have three lives
You have one shot each turn
When you sank a ball à your good and don’t lose a live
When you don’t sank a ball à you lose a live
When you sank the black à you got two lives. .

So I did a good thing by put in the black one. You could also buy lives the first our. One beer is one live, a jug is three. So the most people did that. I did that as well but that was because I was thirsty.

I had good shots but to bad also a few less good ones. I finished 9th (last girl though) and the people that were still playing were pretty good. And they all got a few beers or jugs. . so I was not doing to bad I thought.

I didn’t make it a late night. I was tired and had a long drive ahead of me the next day so good night everyone!
