Bye bye Tablet

Waiotapu is an active geothermal area wher you can have a look at different "hot pools" very hot pools. And a geyser. I took a few pictures of that but don't have them any more so I got a few from the internet. Looks excactly the same. 

Walked there for one and a half hour before taking a swim in on of the hot pools a kilometer further. Really nice! And free!

When I got in Taupo I called the bus-driver and he said that the forecast of the next day was pretty bad so that the bus didn't go. I had to do the Tongariro crossing the next day when the wetter was better. So I got an hostel in Taupo. Watched a movie and went to a bar. There where just two other people there, had a chat with one of them and then went to another bar. Played pool, I sucked. . and went to bed when the bar closed. The next morning I skyped on my telephone and had a shower. Normally I skype with my tablet but now I was to lazy to put it on and that would have taken a few minutes, it was around 8:30am. . When I got back an hour later I started to pack because I had to check out. That's when I found out that my tablet was gone. I had put him on the charger at 8:00 and left the room at 8:30. It was not my charger so I went to the office to explain what happened. They called the bus-driver (the people who were in my room already left) to asked if the took it by accident because it was on there charger. Off course not.

Too bad. . but those things happens. Our room door wasn't locked so anyone could have come in. I don't think that those backpackers did it. . they would have done it during the night I reckon. It was a really slow thing and it really took a lot of your patience (ask Simone). So I wasn't worried about that. After a while I found out that my camera was also gone. . That was a bigger disappointment. 
But lucky I'm not (that) stupid, I had a back up. Once in a few days I put all my pictures on my tablet and delete them from my SD card in my camera.

Ooh. . that one was gone as well. Plan C -> from my tablet it uploads automatically to my Dropbox! So only from a day or two I missed them. . that's not to bad.

I had a walk with one of the girls from the hostel and we had a look at someone that was playing golf towards a platform on the sea. Looked funny. They dive in the morning to get all the balls back. . 15000 of them they found that morning. That are a few. Then I saw who was playing. The same guy that was siting next to me at the dinner + performance. Funny. . he recognized the girl that I was with, they were on a yet boat trip together. Small world.

Then found out that my navigation was on my tablet. good that I have an old fashion map with me. . I can do this! And my camper mate app was on that. . okey. . 

Just download Camper mate on my phone. Didn't had enough space. . deleted my navigation which I use on my motorbike in Switzerland, delete some more. . and then it worked.
